A degree in business computing integrates various IT and business skills that allow students to create a bridge between IT and the world of business. Students are able, through this knowledge, to comprehend the business environment within which information systems have to perform, to determine the needs of the users, and design and implement IT solutions for businesses.
You’ll be able, by leveraging your IT expertise to ensure that businesses are running and create products and service that are competitive. You’ll be taught how to work try this with a range of IT tools such as web development, programming and databases as well as developing the broad IT abilities that employers are looking for including teamwork, problem-solving and collaboration.
The course is closely linked to industry. Every year guest lecturers from engineering partners and IT partners share their expertise and work with you on real-world briefs. There is also the possibility to participate in a work-based experience that you can decide where and when to do in line with your interests and career plans.
